EUROLogin 2020

EUROLogin2020 is a transnational partnership from Italy, The Netherlands, France, and Spain. The objective pursued by each EDI provider is to connect their own platform to the corresponding national eIDAS node, thus facilitating the authentication of users from any Member State and enhancing the electronic services provided to European citizens.

EUROLogin2020 consortium is an initiative co-financed by the European Commission through the CEF Telecom program managed by HaDEA. For 17 months, its participants will work to integrate electronic identification (eID) DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) into the systems of three European Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) providers.

This Action will promote the uptake and use of the eID DSI and will facilitate secure access to the provided services by the three EDI providers to all EU citizens and businesses using their national eID, ensuring cross-border mobility and support for the Digital Single Market.

The entities participating in the EUROLogin20 project held their first consortium meeting on April 22nd. During the digital meeting, the team that coordinates the initiative from the Institute on Robotics and Information and Communication Technologies (IRTIC) explained to its participants the management, technical, financial, and dissemination tasks to be taken into account during its development.

IRTIC – Universitat de Valencia will manage the consortium and coordinate the project implementation. For this action, the following specific electronic services were selected to connect to the national eIDAS node and thus, to pass conformance testing:

  • Selected eService for NUBILARIA cloud platform: ACTide Clinical Trial software
  • Selected eService for HEADON cloud platform: Cargo Ledger
  • Selected eService for GENERIX cloud platform: Generix Supply Chain Hub platform

The cloud platforms of the IT Providers of this Consortium have their own Identity Server system used by the several eServices to authenticate users. In this sense, all electronic services of these platforms will have available the eID function to authenticate European Users recognizing their national eIDs. As a result, the three EDI Providers will be able to request, receive and process the new set of identification data received from the eIDAS interoperability nodes and ensure the eIDAS Regulation requirements.

Nubilaria took first actions with the investigations on a technical level to start implementations in the ACTide Clinical Trial software.
